Sport at John Wesley School

At John Wesley School, we recognise the important role that sport plays in a learner’s development.

Sport encourages children to stay active, build confidence, develop coordination and learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, perseverance and good sportsmanship.

Through regular participation, learners have the opportunity to improve their fitness, strengthen both fine and gross motor skills, set personal goals and experience the enjoyment of being part of a team.

We believe that sport should be a positive, rewarding and enjoyable part of school life.
