John Wesley School is a Christian independent primary school that has served the Pinetown and greater Highway area in KwaZulu-Natal with distinction since opening its doors in 1977.

Leaners spent time outdoors uprooting invasive alien plant species and also planted some indigenous trees.
John Wesley School in Pinetown continues to wage war on invasive alien plants as we strive to create an eco-friendly environment for our learners and staff.
A group of learners from the school recently went on an "alien hunt" and, pleasingly, only found a handful of invasive alien plant species, which were promptly removed!
The group also planted three indigenous trees which will provide shade for the pre-primary learners.
