It's Sports Festival Time!

In 2016, we hosted the inaugural John Wesley Schools’ Sports Festival, involving John Wesley School, Pinetown, John Wesley School, Eshowe and John Wesley School, Kosi Bay.

The Festival was a resounding success and John Wesley School, Pinetown will again be hosting the event this year, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 13 May 2017.

Our 1st Soccer Team, 1st Netball Team and school Chess Team will be participating.

The festival will begin at 08h00 and is scheduled to end at 11h30.

We invite all of our parents and children to attend and support John Wesley School, Pinetown.

Urgent request: To ensure the success of this sports festival, we are required to provide accommodation for the visiting teams.

We have appealed to parents of children in Grades 5-7 to assist us in providing accommodation for these visiting children on Friday 12 May.

Hosting letters have been sent out in this regard.

Thank you to those parents who have already indicated their willingness to host visiting children.

However, we are still looking for accommodation for 31 visiting children and we appeal to parents to support this initiative, even if your children are not actively participating in the festival.

Our children thoroughly enjoyed hosting in 2016 and formed some wonderful friendships as a result. We have no doubt that this will again be the case in 2017.
